IMPORTANT NOTICE: CHACO Credit Union will never solicit account information through email. CHACO Credit Union will never make telephone contact soliciting personal information which includes social security numbers, PINs, credit or check card numbers, or other confidential information.

 

Help fight identity theft by using the following tools:

  • Never provide personal information over the telephone or internet if you did not initiate contact.
  • Never click on a link provided in an e-mail you believe may be fraudlent. Viruses may be within the text and can contaminate your computer.
  • Review your account statements regularly to ensure all charges are correct.
  • If you believe a contact is genuine, contact the business/organization yourself.
